PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The New Business Manager is responsible for identifying and developing new clients, including generating leads, building strategic relationships and closing deals with potential clients that contribute to the long-term success and expansion of the organization.
OUTPERFORMING THE ROLE
As New Business Manager, you are most successful when you take pride in helping companies scale by identifying and acquiring the right talent at the right time. You understand the challenges organizations face or may face in the future and you take the lead in generating new business by acquiring clients, closing deals and effectively communicating how our solutions address their specific needs and challenges. Your role is crucial in driving the company’s growth through strategic acquisitions and successful deal closures.
KEY RESULT AREAS
- Business development
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for both Studentflex and High Potential Academy in line with the Talent Sourcing Partner strategy and goals
- Map market sector and geographical expansion opportunities and identify potential short term business growth opportunities
- Generate leads, approach and attract potential new clients and make sure that TSP is well positioned and that proposed commercial solutions are in line with current and future client needs
- Attend client events, internal events and other potential external events
- Deal closing
- Close deals and ensure a soft landing for new clients in cooperation with Account Management.
- Transfer client responsibility after contract signing to Key Account Management
- Market knowledge and Advisory
- Monitor market development and translate into business opportunities
- Maintain an active network of client representatives, market sector specialists, HR consultants and thought leaders to facilitate knowledge based advisory to potential clients
- Improve & Grow
- Work with Account Management on client feedback in order to ensure continuous improvement in both business propositions, service levels and effective lead generation
- Work closely with marketing to ensure growth marketing campaigning, lead generation and follow-up. Monitor and improve lead generation efficacy and return on investment
WHO ARE YOU?
- You hold an HBO or WO degree
- You have 1-4 years relevant experience in a commercial role, preferably (not necessarily) in professional services
- You are fluent in Dutch with proficiency in another language
- Experience with HubSpot is an advantage

WHAT DO WE OFFER?
- Salary range: € 3.000 – €4.000 dependent on experience level;
- Fixed-term contract with the possibility of permanent employment for 40 hours per week;
- Participation in internal training programs;
- Option to work in a hybrid manner: 60/40 (office /home) including work-from-home facilities;
- 24 days vacation leave and 2,5 days ATV leave;
- Pension build-up;
