The challenge of Quatt

Quatt is an ambitious Dutch scale-up, founded in 2021 with a clear mission: to accelerate the energy transition in the Netherlands and beyond. As a climate tech company, Quatt develops and installs AI-driven hybrid and electric heat pumps that help households reduce gas consumption and CO₂ emissions—quickly, affordably, and efficiently. Thanks to its smart software, these heat pumps work seamlessly alongside existing boilers.

Demand for Quatt’s heat pumps skyrocketed and continues to grow rapidly. With more households eager to make their energy use sustainable, the market expanded fast. This momentum created an urgent need for a scalable inflow of young talent across sales, support, and account management.

The challenge?  Attracting top talent that could hit the ground running; making immediate impact, especially during peak periods, without compromising on quality.

Our approach

Talent Sourcing Partner designed a structured recruitment plan tailored to Quatt’s growth stage. Instead of focusing solely what was listed on a CV, we looked for potential: candidates with the right mindset, curiosity and intrinsic motivation to contribute to the sustainability of the Netherlands. At Quatt, things move fast, and a truly suitable candidate needs to be able to handle that pace, something which is not easily captured on paper.

To gain a real feel for the company culture, our Account Manager and Community Manager visited Quatt’s offices and met the team. These insights helped us identify the best matches from our community of 15,000 students and young professionals.

By working proactively, gathering weekly feedback, and keeping short communication lines, we were able to quickly adjust and ensure quality. This approach allowed us to effectively support Quatt’s hiring needs effectively, ensuring they had the right talent on board at exactly the right time, keeping operations running smoothly even during peak periods.

The results

Quatt found a sparring partner in Talent Sourcing Partner, one that actively thinks with them on how to manage their growth.  Thanks to our shared focus on quality and speed, Quatt navigated its busiest periods effortlessly while also building a long-term talent pipeline.

Within just two weeks of starting the partnership, three account managers were fully onboarded. To support the January peak, we filled five full-time positions in only four weeks. As proof of the strong culture fit, three of these hires transitioned into permanent contracts within seven months.
